WFH has been difficult on my career progression

Before covid and the lockdowns and the WFH, I felt my career was on a strong incline.

I feel since WFH started I’ve been less motivated and struggled to get the hang of working remotely. My career progression feels to have subsequently taken a hit.

Curious if others have felt this as well and what are some pieces of advice to bring my performance while working remotely up to par with being in the office like before?

A few things that have helped me are:

  1. Speaking up during meetings (don’t feel awkward because it’s over zoom and leverage the raise hands feature)
  2. Finding friends to work alongside with so you have a community
  3. Moving around and not working from one place to help avoid boredom/exhaustion.
